I am getting in on the end of this conversation and I am not sure what
kind of culture has been established in this circle. I think when newcomers
attend a circle it is up to the facilitator to always begin with everything from
the beginning, middle and end before the first beat begins. I open my circles
with a few expectations then I invite others to share with what their
expectations because the last thing that I want to be seen as is a DIC-tator
if you know what I mean. Everyone is there to share with one another
and it only takes one or two people to scare everyone else off. My rule
is break time is exactly that BREAK TIME!!! I have found that during
break time is when people use others instruments without asking
and it creates problems, and besides your sensory system needs that break.
It is just best if you begin the circle with the middle and end in mind to
avoid any problems. Candida Wise
