It isn't just the inexperienced who like to play softly during breaks, and the inexperienced can be just as impolite to the experienced as vice versa.Hi, I quite agree - (if you recall my post also included: Maybe they are someone just learning and actually need someone with more experience to encourage them and not snuff them out, or they may be someone with experience who doesn't really appreciate being cut off...) since "experience" is encompassed by consideration for other drummers as displayed by our conduct, in addition to skill level at playing, which is really only another aspect of "experience". Unfortunately in my country during the winter, we don't have the option of playing near the water and away from the vexatious drummers (LOL). Oh well, I'll have to wait for fest season - good suggestion though (I'll try it out definitely).
